The Buda Economic Development Corporation (Buda EDC) has been honored with two 2025 Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
Buda EDC received a Gold Award in the General Purpose Website category for its innovative work on the organization’s website, budaedc.com, which provides valuable information, data, and insights to residents, businesses, and community partners. The organization also received a Bronze Award in the Special Events category for its 2024 Buda Business Appreciation Awards event, recognizing efforts to develop strong business partnerships and celebrate the contributions of local businesses. Buda EDC will accept the honors at the IEDC 2025 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan, September 14–17.
